Manchester City 2-0 Brighton, all goals and highlight

Manchester City defeated the newcomers after a stable move at the Falmer Stadium. The home team lasted for more than an hour.

Newcomers Brighton & Hove Albion did not expect much of themselves before the match favorites Manchester City, at the Falmer Stadium.

Greater Manchester City has great hopes for themselves after signing World Class players like Bernardo Silva (Monaco), Kyle Walker (Tottenham) and Benjamin Mendy (Monaco).

The first twenty minutes were dominated by the away team, which had 70% ball possession.

After 24 minutes, Isaiah Brown switched Jamie Murphy due to a knee injury.

Three minutes later, the young Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus got the ball in goal but touched it with his hand. Domare Oliver dropped the goal and handed a warning.

Gabriel Jesus came close to giving his side the lead 34 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around Mathew Ryan after a determined run through the middle.

Brighton held out during the first half of the Premier League debut, thanks to rescues by Mathew Ryan.

In the 52th minute Gabriel Jesus scored again, but it was ruled offside and just seconds later, Sergio Agüero burned a freeze.

56 minutes into the game, Brighton created several goals, but missed all.

Manchester City was able to double the lead as Fernandinho flipped the ball, Jesus goes to head the cross but Dunk is just behind and does it for him, heading into his own net.
